A charming vintage boxed set of miniature perfume sample vials, once marketed as “Selected Famous Perfumes" Packaged in Nips.” Each slender glass vial contains a small amount of fragrance and is finished with a color-coded tip. Before today's spray-card samples and miniature bottles became commonplace, tiny perfume “nips” offered shoppers an elegant way to sample different fragrances. An unusual survivor from the history of cosmetics and fragrance.
