Vintage Montgomery Ward Airline Stereo Console

A vintage Montgomery Ward Airline solid-state stereo console from the era when the family stereo was a piece of furniture in its own right. Housed in a substantial wood cabinet, this all-in-one entertainment system features a built-in record player, AM/FM stereo receiver and 8-track tape player. The lift-top cabinet and front doors allowed the electronics to disappear neatly into the furniture when not in use. A nostalgic reminder of the days of vinyl records, 8-tracks and living-room listening.
