We took a trip back in time when we uncovered these vintage clamp-on roller skates, a fun reminder of an era before adjustable inline skates became the norm. They appeared to date from the mid-1900s and were designed to clamp onto everyday shoes using an adjustable metal frame. Time had left them with plenty of surface rust and honest wear, but that weathered look only added to their nostalgic charm and made them a wonderful piece of skating history. Sold at our March 2019 Phoenix estate sale.
