Vintage Erné Custom Perfume – Scottsdale, Arizona

A wonderful piece of Scottsdale history, this boxed perfume was created by Erné Custom Perfumer, once located on 5th Avenue in Scottsdale, Arizona. The dark glass bottle retains its gold handwritten label identifying the custom fragrance as “Black Velvet,” along with the Erné name and Scottsdale address.

Presented in its original velvet-lined box with a small applicator, the set recalls an era when independent perfumers created personalized and small-batch fragrances for their clientele. More than simply a vintage perfume bottle, it is a charming survivor from Scottsdale’s earlier retail history.
