An unusual vintage tabletop cigarette lighter with a glossy black rounded body and elaborate gold-tone ornamentation. A winged cherub decorates the front, surrounded by ornate scrollwork that gives the piece a decidedly Baroque-inspired look. Decorative cigarette lighters were once designed to be displayed as much as used, and this elaborate example is a wonderful reminder of an era when even everyday objects could be surprisingly ornate.
