We were delighted to find this beautifully crafted mountain dulcimer accompanied by a shelf of music books that hinted at years of enjoyment and practice. The instrument appeared to be a traditional Appalachian-style dulcimer, and the collection of instructional books suggested its previous owner had spent plenty of time learning new songs and techniques. The wood had developed a warm, well-loved finish with light signs of use, giving the entire set the feeling of a hobby that had been genuinely cherished before it found its next home.
