Few automobiles capture the extravagance of 1970s American luxury quite like the Cadillac Eldorado. With its enormous hood, dramatic chrome grille, concealed-looking proportions and unmistakably imposing stance, the Eldorado was designed during an era when subtlety was apparently optional.
This white example was discovered at an Arizona estate sale, complete with whitewall tires, wire-style wheel covers and seemingly acres of chrome. The Eldorado represented Cadillac's personal-luxury flagship, combining distinctive styling with the substantial size and presence that made these cars instantly recognizable.
More than simply transportation, cars like this were statements, and decades later, it's nearly impossible to see one without stopping for a second look.
